Ford Mustang Boss 302
While electronic cars might have a bright future in the United States, there are certain things they won’t be able to compare to when it comes to fuel drive automobiles. Environmentally friendly, good gas mileage and longer life span are all attributes that would easily attract you to the new electronic cars, but there is no feeling like the rumble of a 662 horse power motor under your feet. The smell of the gas and the burning of the tires as you break away from a dead stop is impossible to compete with.
That’s where Ford and their amazing engineers bring the new Mustang to light. They have been quoted as “Doing the impossible” by fans and critics alike. Ford has turned the muscle car into a lightning fast sports car. Not only is it stylish, but it comes in many different styles. One of the most impressive models available is the GT500 with a 662-horse power engine, but the consumers pick would have to go to the BOSS 302, with a 5.0-liter V8 shooting out 444 horsepower and 380 foot-pounds of torque. All of these amazing engine designs and they were still able to make room for Ford’s SYNC system, offering you technology and features of the future.
With the future in front of us and innovation becoming exponentially greater, many people believe that now is the time to buy one of these dying breeds of muscle cars. Manual transmission has seen a large decrease in numbers over the years. Damon Lavrinc, one of the most respected gear heads, has been quoted as saying “Electric might be the future, but the internal combustion engine is alive and well”.
Learn About the Ford GT Supercar
For those who seek performance of an unparalleled level in an automobile, you need look no further than Ford's supercar the Ford GT. The GT was originally conceived as a concept car that would be released in conjunction with the celebration of Ford's centennial year. Very few other cars in production can match what Ford has achieved by way of engineering and design with the release of the GT. The Ford GT's supercharged engine is capable of reaching a top speed of over 200 m.p.h. and travels from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. The design of the GT is modeled after the Ford GT40 race cars of the 1960s. The racing influence of the earlier GT is evident in the styling of that model's twenty-first century counterpart. The Ford GT borrowed the two-person seating arrangement and racing stripe from its predecessor, but you won't find many similarities beyond that. Like most high-performance vehicles the Ford GT was produced in limited numbers thereby guaranteeing that anybody who purchases one is joining a very exclusive club.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Carroll Shelby’s name is legendary among Ford fans, and for good reason. Since the 1960s, cars bearing the Shelby logo have been feared by foes and cherished by owners. The latest in the Shelby line, the 2010 GT500, is primed to carry on the tradition, taking the title of Ford's most powerful SVT-tuned Mustang ever.
“We’re proud of the many enhancements that were developed jointly by the Ford and Shelby Automobiles team last year that we’ve now incorporated into the new 2010 Shelby GT500,” said Carroll Shelby, founder of Shelby Automobiles. “Building on what we learned to create the Shelby GT500KR, this new car offers a great combination of power, handling and braking. It is truly a special car that is a great deal of fun to drive.”
The new Shelby GT500 doesn't stack up to the competition it completely surpasses it. Zero to 60 in 4 seconds. Top speed of 202MPH.
